Assalamualaikum..

I have not updated my blog for quite sometime. Alhamdulillah I have completed my foundation studies in CFS IIUM and now I am studying in Gombak for my degree.

Today I had read about backbiting from a blog http://dearlittleauntie.blogspot.com. A credit given to this very good blog =)

The Prophet s.a.w said:

“Do you know what backbiting is?”
They said: “Allaah and His Messenger know best.”
He said: “Mentioning your brother with that which he dislikes.”

It was said to the Prophet (Salla Allaahu ‘Alayhi wa sallam): “Even if what I mention about my brother is true?” He (Salla Allaahu ‘Alayhi wa sallam) said:
"If what you have said concerning him is true, then surely you have backbitten him; and if what you said isn’t true, then surely you have slandered him.”
So, even though it might be true what we're saying, it's still not really okay to say about it.
On the Day of Judgement, Allah S.W.T is going to take away our good deeds equivalent to that of the backbiting we did and give it to the wronged person or persons. He is Al-Adl, the Utterly Just, who will not let even the slightest injustice be overlooked!

Defend the honor of our Muslim brothers and sisters, then Allah may defend ourselves when we need the greatest defend.Hide the faults of your brothers and sisters, then Allah will conceal your faults on the day when everyone else's are paraded out in the open.

I have to continue reminding myself to be more careful with my words. I would like to apologize if I had hurt my dear friends intentionally or unintentionally.

Astagfirullah, may Allah forgive me for my sins. =(
May Allah protect us all.

A beautiful words given by my lecturer:

Watch ur thoughts; they become words
Watch ur words; they become actions
Watch ur actions; they become habits
Watch ur habits; they become character
Watch ur character; its becomes ur destiny

May we become a person who always continue to improve ourselves for the sake of Allah.^__^
